West Kentucky Community and Technical College offers excellent academic resources and services to assist in your Student in computer labeducational goals. 

  • Academic Advisement is offered to help students choose the right classes for their major.  Students must meet with their assigned academic advisor each semester to discuss which classes to take in order to meet graduation requirements.
  • Academic Support Centers offer peer and professional tutoring and life skills workshops.
  • Early Alert program identifies and assists students who are struggling due to academic or personal factors.
  • FOCUS Assessment is a self-paced, online career and education planning tool enabling you to explore career fields and major areas of study that are most compatible with your assessment results.
  • Mental Health services for anxiety, depression, or chemical dependency problems are available at two local treatment facilities: Lourdes 270-444-2250 or Four Rivers 270-442-7121.  The Purchase Area Domestic Violence shelter (Merryman House) provides physical and emotional support to families and individuals experiencing domestic violence.
  • Student Success Series is an opportunity for students to learn practical study skills and receive motivation that will assist students in successfully achieving their educational goals.
  • Student Support Services (TRIO) is a federally funded program designed to maximize students' academic potential to achieve their academic goals.
  • Supplemental Instruction - the tutor will go to class alongside the students and hold study sessions in order to facilitate beneficial academic growth for those students.
