Steps to Success for Learn by Term at WKCTC

Who we are--West Kentucky Community and Technical College serves the seven counties of the Jackson Purchase in far western Kentucky. Students have access to technical programs including construction, auto body, nursing, allied health, graphics, and electronics, transfer courses and two year degrees in education, nursing, business, information technology, marine technology, and law enforcement

What we are--WKCTC is a leader in work force development with the Emerging Technology Center offering online courses in literally every aspect of the college experience.

Where we are in online learning--Since 1991 WKCTC has been involved in online learning but started in the 1970s with KET Telecourses and Interactive Television. The college currently has 127 sections per semester of online courses with 500 students taking only online courses.

What do you need to do first:

• Contact our Director of Online Student Services, Sandra Tucker. Through Sandra you will learn how to register, set up accounts for e-mail and course selection, and get to financial aid. She will also assist if you need specific information about course programs.
