Congratulations! The West Kentucky Community and Technical College Graduation Committee would like to invite you, your family and friends to participate in the commencement activities. For your reference, we have put together this commencement ceremony information page that has more detailed information on the schedule of events for the day of commencement.
WKCTC holds three commencements per academic year, two in May and one in December.

Arrival times for the December 2016 Commencement Ceremony
Graduates Arrive: 6:15 p.m. for the ceremony
* Please arrive in your commencement cap and gown attire. Graduates must enter through the back loading dock entrance of the Carson Center and sign in at the registration table for the ceremony. WKCTC staff will be available to help students line up for processional.
Faculty Arrive: 6:15 p.m.
** Please arrive in regalia. Faculty must enter through the back loading dock entrance of the Carson Center and check in with staff volunteers for the ceremony. The volunteers will also assist faculty with lining up for the processional.
Doors open for guests at approximately 6:30 p.m. for the ceremony.
Cap, Gown & Tassel
Students can purchase/pick-up cap and gown from April 1-29 for the 2016 May Commencement. Bookstore hours 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Phi Theta Kappa students planning to graduate in December should contact Dr. Gericke (Rosenthal Hall Office F or email@example.com) to order stoles. The deadline to order stoles is November 11. The cost will be $20 (cash or check payable to PTK). Students must be a PTK member in good standing (minimum 3.20 cumulative GPA and receiving a December degree at time of order). Stoles may be picked up in Dr. Gericke's office after December 3.
Graduating veterans are eligible to wear a red, white, and blue honor cord with their cap and gown in honor of their military service. If you have served honorably in the U.S. military and are graduating and attending a West Kentucky Community and Technical College Commencement, you will receive an honor cord to represent your service to our country. To obtain your honor cord, please contact WKCTC Veterans Coordinator Kristin Amaya at 534-3861 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Honor cords can be picked up in the Office of Veterans Services located in Anderson Technical Building, room 101.
Students scoring 450 or more on their ETS Exam may pick up their cords at check-in for the graduation ceremony.
Honors Ceremony Information
Attention Graduates: No tickets are required for the Honors Ceremony.
The 2016 Honors Ceremony will be held on April 28 at 6 p.m. in the Clemens Fine Arts Center on the WKCTC campus. Honor recipients will be notified via mail and e-mail about the honor awards they will be receiving and to RSVP for the ceremony.
