Registration Requirements

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Application for admission for new, readmit, or transfer students(This includes students who previously took courses while enrolled in high school.)
• Official high school transcript or GED completion transcript/diploma.
• Official transcript(s) mailed from all previously attended colleges.  Visiting students, students who will attend West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) for one semester only and then return to their home college, do not have to send official transcripts, but a letter of good standing from the home college is required indicating the student is eligible to return to the home college.
• Placement Test Scores: COMPASS testing is required unless the applicant has an ACT score of 18 in English and reading and 20 in mathematics, or the applicant has completed a college level English or math course.

Selective Admission Programs

Admission into allied health and nursing programs at WKCTC is based on selective admission criteria specific to each program. Refer to program offerings, for program requirements and deadlines, or contact the program coordinator or a career counselor.
