The Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM) is a Christian organization providing opportunities for Christian growth and fellowship. The BCM is not a club that requires a membership to attend. We are sponsored by the West Union Baptist Association, however, you do not have to be Baptist to attend. We invite everyone to be involved! Each week consists of worship, bible study, and fellowship. You will also have the opportunity to do community service, attend state-wide BCM conferences, participate in retreats, go on mission trips, and serve alongside Murray State University’s BCM.

To help students develop leadership and good citizenship skills by getting involved in college and community activities. Avenues of community involvement include participation in political and civic activities, ways of making a difference.
The club normally meets twice a month, usually every other Friday, at 12:00 Noon. Depending on room availability, club meetings are either in Room 113 in Waller Science Hall or in the Club Room located in the student center. Snacks and drinks are provided during club meetings.
Anyone attending WKCTC can join the club. Faculty and staff are encouraged to join as club advisors or supporters.

The WKCTC Community Chorus is a non-audition performing group. We are open to anyone with a passion for choral singing. Every fall we give a seasonal concert featuring music from the classic choral repertoire and outstanding popular choral arrangements appropriate for the time of year. In the spring we present our Pops concert which features musical excerpts from a hit Broadway show and other popular choral works. There is no audition, just a desire to sing and the ability to attend rehearsals on Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00 PM. If you wish to join us or simply want to know more contact Norman F. The WKCTC Science Club aims to provide a community for students interested in science.
Students attend seminars and local professional meetings, perform outreach to schools, obtain information on career opportunities and participate in student research projects. Meetings are held in Waller Hall and are open to all students, faculty and staff.

The Spanish Culture Club is composed of students who share an interest in learning about the Spanish language and the many cultures of the Spanish speaking world. The purpose of the club is to raise awareness and enrich students’ knowledge of the diversity in culture and language.
The club normally meets twice a month, usually every other Thursday, at 12:30 in the club room of the Student Center. Typical Hispanic foods and drinks are often served.
Anyone interested in Hispanic language and culture. It is not necessary to speak the language. Hispanic students are encouraged to join the club to truly share and learn together.

The West Kentucky Community and Technical College Student Government Association helps facilitate the operation of student activities and shall be the liaison between the student body and the administration. Meetings are open to all students.
The WKCTC Student Government Association membership shall be composed of two representatives from each recognized student organization. Officers of SGA shall be the President, Vice President and Secretary.

The campus Writers’ Group welcomes all students, faculty, staff, and community members interested in writing and reading creative pieces. Members gather to share original poems, short stories, longer works of fiction, and creative non-fiction, in an environment of enthusiasm and constructive criticism to support each other throughout the writing process.
Other activities of the Writers’ Group include a spring writing contest for all West Kentucky Community and Technical College students. Students in the Writers’ Group can also participate in the creation and editing of the College’s new literary arts journal, Exit 7, set to be released in the spring of 2011. In addition, Writers’ Group members are kept informed of the many various literary events occurring on campus and throughout the greater community.
The Writers' Group meets on alternating Tuesday afternoons in the Library Conference Room from 3:30 – 4:30. Anyone interested in joining the Writers’ Group, or being notified via email of upcoming literary events, should contact Britton Shurley or Pat Holler.
