    • Superhero Science K-2 Grade -- Week of July 9 -- RM-222 in ETC -- $90
It's a bird, it's a plane, its superhero! Discover the real science behind your favorite superhero's super powers. “Science Guy” Jason Lindsey will use hands-on science to unlock the inner superhero in your child. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero.
    • Jr. Meteorologist 3-5 Grade -- Week of July 16 --RM-216 in ETC -- $90
How do tornadoes form? How hot is lightning? Explore the science of severe weather with "Science Guy" Jason Lindsey and learn the answers to all your severe weather questions! In this class you will build your very own weather station, create a tornado, make it rain in the classroom, and more.
    • Jr. Scientist Camp 3-5 Grade -- Week of July 23 --  RM-216 in ETC -- $90
Your kid becomes a junior scientist as they use real science tools to do some of the coolest science experiments. “Science Guy” Jason Lindsey will show your future scientists how to create slime, launch rockets, and more. Each student will help Jason in a future Hooked on Science television segment.
  • Extreme Lego Camp, Bill Kunnecke instructor
    • Grades 1-2 -- Week of June 4 -- ETC RM-215 & 214 -- $225
The LEGO® Education WeDo™ Robotics Construction Set is an easy-to-use set that introduces young students to robotics. Your students will build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors. When the set is combined with the WeDo Robotics Activity Pack, students will explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, as well as language and literacy.
    • Grades 3-4 -- Week of June 11 -- ETC RM-215 & 214 -- $225
Students will build and explore machines and mechanisms, investigate motorized machines, calibrate and capture wind, and study gearing mechanisms with this core brick set. The set contains 396 LEGO® Technic elements and full-color building instruction booklets for 10 principal models and 18 main models, all in a sturdy storage bin that includes a sorting tray. The Pneumatics Add-On Set will carry out a broad range of activities within design technology, science, and mathematics.
    • Grades 5-6 -- Week of June 18 -- ETC RM-215 & 214 -- $225
Students will make robots move, talk, and respond at their direction. Through the use of second generation LEGO Robotics (NXT Mindstorm) students will be challenged with numerous projects and exercises. They will use this hands on environment to apply their creativity and programming skills to see the STEM connection to the world of robotics
    • Grades 7-8 -- Week of June 25 -- ETC RM-216 & 214 -- $225
Students will learn to control robots by developing software programming skills in a STEM environment. Students will simulate a robotic vacuum cleaner, navigate a maze, and make the robots respond to voice commands. Students will understand the “magic” of robotics. Students will be challenged to solve three real robotic engineering problems.
  • Boys Only Camp – Trent Johnson, instructor
    • Grades 7-12 -- Week of June 11 -- ATB RM-142 -- $50
All camp activities are geared to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) initiative. Students will explore these fields and learn how to apply them to real world applications and situations.
