Cross-Country | WKCTC


Cross-county races are middle to long distance races over grass, gravel and dirt. Cross-country races are from 3 to 5 miles long. The WKCTC Cross-country team runs at regional University Cross-Country meets. We race against other dozens of universities, and community colleges at these meets. We welcome runners of all types and experience.

The WKCTC Cross-Country Team is in its third season. We practice 3-5 times a week. Our motto is “Do Your Best.” We are a social club of runners. We like to run together for fun and companionship. We like to compete at the very least with ourselves if not with other runners. Running is a part of our lives that helps us to focus and to relieve stress. Running is a proven way to improve learning and Academic performance. It improves health both mental and physical. We welcome all.
