Area High School Students Compete at WKCTC

High school students from technology and career centers in Paducah, Marshall and Ballard counties will be on the campus of West Kentucky Community and Technical College on Friday, March 4, to participate in the SkillsUSA regional competition in auto body repair.

The competition begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Anderson Technical Building, room 157. Students will be tested in auto collision repair and auto refinishing, and each student will have to perform a list of prescribed tasks within a given time.

Winners of this contest will go on to state competition. State competition date and location should be available on March 4.

SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers, high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.
