Blood Drive is Sunday, July 25

West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Health Occupation Students of America chapter (HOSA), along with the Community Clergy Fellowship, will present the first Annual Coming Together to Make a Difference Community Blood Drive, Sunday, July 25, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the W.C. Young Community Center in Paducah. The center is located at 505 South 8th Street.

WKCTC practical nursing students wanted to get involved and support the community; and with the help of Laura Durbin, WKCTC assistant professor of practical nursing and HOSA faculty advisor, this group established the college chapter in the fall of 2009.

Its important for students to know they can make a difference in the community, and this blood drive is an excellent opportunity for that to happen, said Durbin.

The public is invited to the blood drive. There will be free refreshments and activities for children.
