Cajun Cooking Classes
New Orleans native Anita Granier will demonstrate how to create appetizers with a
Cajun flair on December 6 and 13 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Skilled Craft Training
Center in Hickory.
Grainer will explain how to prepare a zesty Cajun Chicken Cheese Log that puts a new spin on the traditional cheese ball, a delectable Crawfish Stuffed Bread and an easy and delicious Cajun smoked sausage dish called Andouille Pate on December 6.
On December 13, participants will learn to make tasty New Orleans Praline and homemade Hazelnut Marshmallows, a holiday gift idea for family and friends.
Were very fortunate to have someone of Anita Graniers caliber to deliver these cooking demonstrations at the college, said Kevin ONeill, WKCTC community education coordinator. With her being from New Orleans, Im sure she will bring
a true Cajun cooking flair to our community.
The cost of each class is $35, which includes all food items.
