    New Perspectives on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence

    Did you know one in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime? Or that one in six women and one in 33 men has experienced an attempted or completed rape? As part of Campus Safety Awareness Week, Alpha Epsilon Beta is sponsoring a panel
    discussion about sexual assault, domestic violence and other crime and safety issues. Panel members include representatives from law enforcement, the judicial system, healthcare, a victims advocate, and the crisis response coordinator from the Purchase Area Sexual Assault Center. Topics include causes of violence, steps to take if subject to domestic violence or sexual assault, and the effects these crimes have on the on the victims. The session will conclude with a candlelight Take Back the Night walk around campus.
  • Saturday, October 22
    Take Back the Night 5K and Fun Run
    Race begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Anderson Technical Building. Join us as we cap off our week of activities with this great event! A portion of the proceeds will benefit Child Watch.
