Concept Zero Welcomes Political Satirist

Folk singer and political satirist Tom Neilson will perform at 2:00 pm in the Clemens Student Center at West Kentucky Community and Technical College February 16.

The free concert, sponsored by the colleges Concept Zero student organization, is open to the public.

Neilson, winner of the 2011 Folk Alliance International War amp; Politics, will perform his award winning style of folk music combined with political satire, parody, and social commentary.

According to Peoples Voice Caf Collective in New York City, Neilsons work is creative and compelling; skewers the outrageous behavior of the greedy and powerful in corporations, the media and government.

Concept Zero Faculty Advisor and Sociology and Philosophy Professor David Nickell said the group is excited about Neilsons appearance. We are proud to have someone of his stature coming to our campus.
