Digital Scrapbooking Classes Offered
Learn how to capture and preserve your memories in in a new way in a series of digital scrapbooking classes being offered at West Kentucky Community and Technical College beginning in April.
Now your family memories can be saved with your computer instead of the more traditional method with paper, scissors, glue and pens, said Kevin ONeill, WKCTC continuing education coordinator. We want to provide our community with the opportunity to learn how to use the digital scrapbooking approach.
The course will be offered in the Emerging Technology Center on the WKCTC campus for four consecutive Monday evenings, April 9 - 30 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. The class schedule is as follows:
- April 9 Introduction to Digital Album Making
- April 16 Creating Storybooks
- April 23 Calendars and Posters
- April 30 Advanced Designing
The course instructor, Anita Vance, has been a digitally-endorsed consultant with
Creative Memories for the past seven years. She works to help others enjoy a lifetime
of memories captured in photos by making them available to enjoy with family and friends
through digital scrapbooking. The cost course series is $89. A $75 software package
of digital artwork is included in the price.
Participants can register by calling 270-534-3335 or online.
