Forensic Science Course for 4 -6 Graders

West Kentucky Community and Technical College has a Fall Break treat for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders on Monday, October 1, -Tuesday, October 2.

Forensic Science, taught by The Science Guy Jason Lindsey, will engage students in the science behind solving crimes. Students will learn about DNA profiling; digital imaging; crime scene reconstruction; handwriting and voice identification; fingerprinting; collecting physical evidence; and much more.

With relevant content, engaging explorations and a wealth of hands-on activities, Forensic Science is sure to bring out the Sherlock Holmes in the students, said Kevin ONeill, WKCTC continuing education coordinator. We know it will be fun and educational for all that participate.

The course will be held in the Emerging Technology Center, room 214 on October 1-2. The cost is $65, which includes lunch and a snack for both days.
