GED Graduation

GED graduatesThe West Kentucky Community and Technical College GED graduation ceremony will be held on August 15, 6:00 p.m. in the Clemens Fine Arts Center.

Since July 1, 2010, to present date more than 500 students have earned their GED through the McCracken County Adult Education program on the campus of WKCTC. Since the adult education program was relocated to WKCTC in 2003, it has helped more 1,200 students earn their GED.

The McCracken County Adult Education program assist students in becoming college and career ready, said Samantha Williams, director of the West Kentucky Adult Education program.
Our goal is to empower students so they will continue their education by enrolling in college. The number of students going on to college after getting their GED is growing each year, and we are proud to be a part of that process.

The McCracken County Adult Education program offers the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), which certifies a student has essential skills needed for workplace success.
