Girls Invited to STEM ForumGirls of all ages who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) can attend a forum in the Emerging Technology Center on the campus of West Kentucky Community and Technical College on May 6 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm. The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Business Education Partnership committee, along with the Kentucky Girls STEM Collaborative, is inviting female students, parents, and business and community members to participate in the regional forum designed to educate and encourage girls in the science, technology, engineering and math disciplines. Participants will learn from prominent female professionals in these fields.
Panelists Include: Jennifer Rukavina, WPSD-TV; Jeanne Davis, Cooperative Extension Service; LaDonna Knoth, Marquette Transportation; Mary Pettus-Rowland, Pettus Rowland Funeral Home; Dianne Leveridge, UK College of Engineering Project Lead the Way; Dr. Evelyn Jones, WellSprings Dermatology.

Sign-in and registration will also take place in the Emerging Technology Center beginning at 3:30 pm before the forum begins. The forum is a partnership between West Kentucky Community and Technical College, University of Kentucky, and Murray State University.
