Since July 1, 2009, more than 185 students have earned their GED) diploma through the West Kentucky Adult Education program on the campus of WKCTC. The adult education program was relocated to WKCTC in 2003; since that time this program has helped more 700 students earn their GED.

West Kentuckys Adult Education program also opens the door for students to continue their education, said Betty Myrick, director of the West Kentucky Adult Education program. The number of students going on to college after getting their GED is growing each year and we are proud to be a part of that process.
