Kentucky Girls STEM Collaborative Forum
Girls of all ages interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
(STEM) can attend a forum in the Emerging Technology Center on the campus of West
Kentucky Community and Technical College on May 12 at 4:00 pm.
The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Business Education Partnership committee in partnership with the Kentucky Girls STEM Collaborative invites female students, parents, businesses, and community members to participate in a regional forum to encourage and motivate girls to pursue educational choices in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Participants will learn from prominent female professionals in these fields.
Panelists include: Dr. Jacqueline Carter, Western Baptist Hospital; Brandi Harless, EntrePaducah; Lt. Jennifer Jessee, Waterways Management and US Coast Guard; Dr. Maeve McCarthy, Murray State University; La Nora Westbrook, United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC).

The event is free to attend. Refreshments will be served and provided by Lourdes Hospital.
