The One Book, One Campus, One Community Read is a community project to promote reading and literacy in our region. WKCTC has focused on the importance of reading as part of its Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a five-year initiative designed by the college to enhance the academic performance and the culture of literacy for the college and community.

Reading is vital to everything we do in society, and we strive to encourage each person to pick up a book, read it, and then pass on the value of that experience to others, said Kim Russell, QEP Director. The campus and community are very excited about David Baldaccis appearance at WKCTC and Wish You Well being chosen as this years One Book selection.

Copies of Wish You Well are available in the WKCTC Matheson Library and the McCracken County Public Library.

Four monthly reading groups are being facilitated at WKCTC throughout the semester, and groups meet for one hour per month. Everyone is invited to attend a reading group and share in the discussion of Wish You Well. On October 6, the McCracken County Public Library will hold an Off the Shelf discussion of Wish You Well.
