PAducah School of Art Announces Name Change
Paducah School of Art has changed its name to the Paducah School of Art amp; Design to reflect an expanded vision for its programming, which includes graphic design.
The name change takes effect immediately and is accompanied by a new logo and enhanced Internet presence. It also accompanies the start of construction on the art schools new 7,000-square-foot sculpture facility, located adjacent to the recently renovated studios at Madison Hall in Lower Town.
The name change, new logo and web presence are all designed to enhance the art schools efforts to recruit regional high school students, while continuing to move the school toward greater national recognition. The logo design and web presence changes have been created by Paducah designer and native Nathan Brown of Solid Rocket Media. The art schools web presence will continue to expand into an increasingly interactive device and resource for the community.
