South Pacific Production April 23 - 25

Spend an enchanted evening at West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Clemens Fine Arts Center for their production of Rodgers and Hammersteins South Pacific! The production is scheduled for April 23 and 24 at 7:30 pm and April 25 at 2:30 pm.

South Pacific is a love story set on an island in the South Pacific during World War II. Music includes Some Enchanted Evening, There Is Nothing Like A Dame, and Im Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair.

The Broadway production of South Pacific took ten Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Score. It was the only musical production ever to win all four Tony Awards for acting. The show most recently received the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival. The cast of 39 includes: Janet Bloomingburg, Don Maley, Madison Mott, Cassidi Peck, Phyllis Hammonds, Sylvia Steiner, Alyssa Durbin, Mellisa Duncan, Joe Mahoney, Alex Clark, Bobby Mathis, Tommy Thompson, Jacob Waid, Chip Bohle, Shane Clapp, Randy Simmons, Chris Hayden, Jon Simmons, Jacob Roper, Alex Clark, Sophie McDonald, Leigh Loyd, Sara Williams, Rachel Mahoney, Grace Allen, Clarissa Nelson, Katie Young, Kyndra Herring, Lana Gascon, Madison Whelan, Jenn Mariner, Connie Sykes, Caitlyn Gallip, Emily Neal, Amanda Gill, and Lydia Smoot.

The show is directed by Norman Wurgler and produced by Gail Robinson Butler. Musical direction is provided by Patt Lynch.
