London, Normandy, Paris, Berlin, and Munich are just a few of the cities that will be visited as part of the West Kentucky Community and Technical College Study Abroad Program in May 2014. View flyer

The trip, which is open to the public, will help travellers gain insight into the effects of the World War II. WWII and the Liberation of France and WWII and the Western Front is designed to put context to the decisions that turned into war, and learn about the heroes that were made, lost and should be remembered, said Pat Blaine WWII trip tour leader and WKCTC English professor.

In earlier Spring 2014, Berry Craig, author and retired WKCTC history professor, will also be teaching an introduction course as a preliminary to the WWII trip. The course will emphasize the European Theater of operations and examine the military, political, social and economic impact of the war on Europe. History 120 will be offered online and can be taken for credit or audited. Although the course is open to all, it is highly recommended for travelers of the WWII trip. Craig will also be traveling with the tour group.
