WKCTC GED Graduation

Two people dressed in graduation robesThe West Kentucky Community and Technical College GED graduation ceremony will be held on August 11, 6:00 p.m. in the Clemens Fine Arts Center. Kentucky State Representative Brent Housman will be the keynote speaker.

Since July 1, 2010 to present date more than 175 students have earned their General Educational Development (GED) diploma through the West Kentucky Adult Education program on the campus of WKCTC. Since the adult education program was relocated to WKCTC in 2003, it has helped more 900 students earn their GED.

West Kentuckys Adult Education program also opens the door for students to continue their education, said Betty Myrick, director of the West Kentucky Adult Education program.

The number of students going on to college after getting their GED is growing each year and we are proud to be a part of that process.
