A Feast for the Senses at the Clemens Center
Paducah, KY (February 10, 2017) – Imagine witnessing the creativity of an artist creating
a masterpiece before your eyes in mere moments. Artrageous will bring their high-energy
ride of inspiration, creativity and engagement to Clemens Fine Arts Center Sunday,
March 5 at 3 p.m.
Your senses will tingle with a high-energy mixed media performance by Artrageous, the troupe of artists, musicians, singers and dancers that pay tribute to a variety of art forms, pop icons and musical genres culminating in a gallery of fabulous finished paintings. A signature of the Artrageous Troupe is audience interaction and engagement.
“Audience members should be ready to have a good time and have fun being part of the show,” said Brian Heller, Clemens Fine Arts Center director. “The time they spend in our theatre for Artrageous will be something they won’t forget.”
The troupe, originally formed in 1980 in British Columbia, is an artistic community based in Tijeras, New Mexico. Most members have over 20 years of experience with Artrageous, and the company has produced over 2500 shows both nationally and internationally. Touring since 1990, Artrageous has performed international shows in Paris, Salzburg, Monte Carlo, Brussels, Madrid, Macau, Tokyo, New Delhi, Thailand, Oman, Tanzania, Panamá, Dominican Republic, Los Cabos, Cancun, Bermuda, Bahamas, and Toronto among others.
