
Summer Bridge program sets path for new WKCTC students
For two weeks in July recent graduates from area high schools participated in the Summer Bridge program at West Kentucky Community & Technical College. Through the program the students — all of whom will be attending WKCTC this fall — had the opportunity to learn more about the campus, take workshops on best practices for studying and test-taking, meet with faculty and staff, and learn more about program options at the college.
Faculty and staff with the WKCTC's Student Success Center led the program, which is designed to help incoming students navigate the transition from high school to college. The students participating in this year's Summer Bridge were:
