Waller Hall (WAL) houses various science classes and labs including physics, chemistry and biology and offers transfer courses parallel to the first two years of a baccalaureate degree. Details on the academic offerings in Waller Hall can be found in the CIT, Math and Science Division.

Rosenthal Hall (ROS) houses many of WKCTC’s business, history, social science and behavioral science courses that transfer to four-year institutions. The building is also home to the Business Immersion Center which is located on the second floor and houses the College’s business administration courses. Detailed descriptions of academic courses in Rosenthal Hall can be found in the Humanities, Fine Arts, Business and Social Sciences.

Carson Hall (CAR) houses the administrative offices including the college president, human resources, the advancement office and the marketing department. Carson Hall is the former home of Paducah’s William Carson, who sold the home to Paducah Junior College in 1961. The building was named in memory of PJC Board of Trustee member Luther F. Carson for his dedication to the early years of the college and in appreciation of William Carson’s contribution to the college’s move from downtown Paducah to its current location today.

The Carson Carriage House is home to the main offices of the college’s Maintenance and Operations department. The Carriage House was part of the original home of the William Carson Family.

Haws Gymnasium (GYM) is home to the West Kentucky Stars basketball club and its fans. The building also houses the College’s mailroom. Haw Gymnasium was named for Sonny Haws, the coach of Paducah Community College’s (now WKCTC) 1969 National Championship Team.

The Guard Building is a small one-room building where the office for campus security personnel is located.

The Maintenance Garage houses equipment used by the maintenance and operations department.

The Marshall Nemer Building houses WKCTC’s dual credit and K-12 Partnerships offices  as well faculty and staff who work with Community Scholarship Program students. The Campus Cupboard, the College’s food pantry, is also located in this building. The building was named for long-time college supporter and advocate Marshall Nemer.

The Clemens Student Center/Fine Arts Building (Theatre) (SCA) houses the Student Center that provides space for students to study, relax and socialize. The building is home to the Student Government Association Student Lounge, the Center Café, the television department and English and Humanities faculty offices. The building is also home to the Clemens Fine Arts Center that includes a gallery exhibition space and a 472-seat, state-of-the-art theatre that offers local, regional, national and international programming. The building was named for the Donald Clemens, the first president of Paducah Community College (now WKCTC).

The first floor of  Matheson Learning Resource Center (MLRC) houses the Student Success Center (SSC), which is dedicated to advancing student retention and success at WKCTC. The SSC provides tutoring services, supplemental instruction outside of classes, and computers and printing. Success Coach and other faculty offices are also located on the first floor. The entire second floor of MLRC is dedicated to the Matheson Library, which houses thousands of books plus DVDs, audiobooks, chargers, e-readers, and calculators for checkout; individual and group study space; and computer labs with printing capabilities, including wireless printing. Crounse Hall (CRO) houses the UK College of Engineering Paducah Campus, a collaboration with the University of Kentucky and WKCTC to offer studies leading to bachelor’s degrees from UK in mechanical engineering and chemical engineering. The building also houses WKCTC and UK faculty and staff office and classrooms. Crounse Hall 101 is a small auditorium space for campus and community meetings and events located on the first floor. Crounse Hall was named in honor of George P. and Eleanor B. Crounse for their major contribution to construction of the building.

The Crisp Building/Challenger Learning Center (CLC) houses the Challenger Learning Center at Paducah that opened its doors in August 2002. As a leader in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, the CLC and its international network of more than 40 Challenger Learning Centers uses space-themed simulated learning environments to engage students in dynamic, hands-on opportunities. The network of Challenger Centers was created in remembrance of the seven-member crew of the 1987 Challenger accident. American teacher Christa McAuliffe was one of the crew members lost.

The Barbara M. Veazey Health Sciences Building (Veazey HS) houses the allied health programs that combine both classroom education on campus and clinical training through numerous healthcare partner sites. WKCTC offers nursing education programs leading to careers as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, and nursing assistant. Allied health programs include dental assisting, diagnostic medical sonography, health science technology, medical laboratory technician, physical therapist assistant, radiography, surgical technology, medical information technology, pharmacy technology, and cosmetology. The Emerging Technology Center (ETC) houses WKCTC’s Workforce Solutions to provide customized services and training opportunities to increase economic development throughout our region. Workforce Solutions also offers many continuing education (CEU) courses and non-credit, personal enrichment community education courses. The ETC Building also houses various WKCTC information technology and applied technology programs, faculty and staff offices and a large meeting room for campus and community events. Also located in the building is The Fred Paxton Engineering Research Center that provides space for undergraduate and graduate research projects under the supervision of the UK engineering faculty located in Paducah.

The Anderson Technical Building (ATB) houses the College’s student services and many of its academic programs including culinary arts, computerized manufacturing and machining, cosmetology, dental assisting, electrical technology, welding technology and more. The WKCTC bookstore in located in the Anderson Technical Building (ATB) and is affiliated with Barnes and Noble. Bookstore personnel is ready to help students with course needs, including what textbooks they will need for their courses and how to charge books with financial aid. A large selection of additional items needed for classes and WKCTC attire/gear is also available in the bookstore.

The Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) is located in Lower Town in Paducah, KY. PSAD includes the Ceramics and Small Jewelry Building, Sculpture Building and the 2D and Graphics Design Building, which houses the Bill Ford Gallery exhibition space and Kitchen’s Café. The College’s PSAD offers classes in a wide variety of visual arts studio areas and art history. Students may take beginning and intermediate classes for credit or recreationally and may choose to pursue an Associate in Fine Arts degree or an Associate in Applied Science degree.

The Purchase Area Training Center (PTC) is located in located in Hickory, KY. The diesel technology program is housed in this building and offers courses designed to prepare students for careers in medium/heavy truck, farm equipment service, or construction equipment repair. The program is National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified as a division of the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) national institution for certifying medium/heavy duty truck technicians.

Skilled Craft Training Center

The Skilled Craft Training Center (SCTC) is located in Hickory, KY. The building houses the Adult Education (GED Preparation) for Graves County and various academic programs including automotive technology, certified nursing assistant, air conditioning technology (HVAC) and welding. The building also houses the Kentucky Federation of Manufacturing Education (KY FAME) that offers more than college classes. Coursework will include not only essential hands-on technical training but also instruction in lean manufacturing principles and critical workplace behaviors. Through the KY FAME program, WKCTC partners with local manufacturing companies to offer students both classroom and business experience.

Marine Way Training Center

The Marine Way Training Center is located at 631 Marine Way in downtown Paducah, KY. The Center offers the fire/rescue science technology program to prepare students for a career as firefighter (basic and advanced level), emergency medical technician, and fire chief/officer.
