West Kentucky Community and Technical College will offer flexible class schedules this spring, with 16-week, 12-week and 8-week courses starting in January, February and March to help students begin or return to college.
The college will provide day, evening and online options designed to fit a variety of schedules, said Tammy Maines, dean of enrollment management.
“These options may be the perfect opportunity for students to get started or return to college by taking a few classes at a time,” Maines said. “Whatever the need, we’re here to help students each step of the way.”
Maines said the varied term lengths allow students to begin coursework toward a degree, diploma or certificate, preparing them to enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year university.
Sixteen-week classes begin Jan. 12. Twelve-week classes start Feb. 9, and eight-week classes begin March 9.
Financial aid and scholarships are available, including the Adult Promise Scholarship for students 25 and older and the MacKenzie Scott Opportunities Scholarship for students ages 18 to 24. More information is available at westkentucky.kctcs.edu.
