Sector 6: Support for Non-Academic Student Needs

Objective: To increase student retention, success, and completion by expanding assistance available to meet non-academic and emergency needs that affect academic performance.
 
Anticipated Partners: Multiple College departments; Paducah Area Transit Authority; Student Emergency Fund donors
 
Deliverables: Use of college van to provide transportation for students from one end of campus to the other and/or to and from PSAD and Graves County locations; greater on-campus presence of PATS bus; financial support to supplement and sustain Student Emergency Fund; enhanced Food Pantry location and services
 
Impact: Helps students with class schedules by removing concern about transportation between locations; increases enrollment and retention by meeting needs that affect students’ well-being and ability to attend class
