Our Assessment Center is currently a testing center for ServSafe. If you have taken the online class for certification, our Assessment Center is for you. The ServSafe Food Safety Training Program leads the way in providing current and comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry. More than 2 million food service professionals have been certified through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP). ServSafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification.
Workforce Solutions provides classroom training for ServSafe certification. This training including the test is eight (8) hours in length. At the end of the training the ServSafe certification test is given. The cost for the training and exam is $185.00. A textbook is REQUIRED and is not included in the training cost. The textbook for the class is ServSafe Manager Book 7th Edition. This textbook can be purchased at the WKCTC college bookstore or at most online bookstores. It is strongly recommended that you read the book before the training day.
Classes for ServSafe certification are held in Paducah at the Emerging Technology Center located on the WKCTC campus. The classes are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Class begins promptly at 8:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm with exam to follow. Pre-registration is required. A photo ID and valid e-mail address is required. The exam is computer based. Basic computer skills are required.
