What is Visual Communication - Design & Technology?
In the multimedia industry, creative strategies are powered by technology. The Visual Communication program trains students on the design process, the importance of text and color, and the industry-standard software used to create visual solutions. Students will be able to create for video and television production, print and web design, or digital illustration and digital design.

Length of Program
Students must complete 63 hours of credit for an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Visual Communication: Multimedia, 54 hours for diplomas, and 12-30 hours for certificates.
Additionally, Visual Communication: Multimedia certificates are embedded within the AAS and diplomas. Visual Communication: Design and Technology certificates can be earned individually.
