LPN-RN Accelerated Bridge

If you are a licensed practical nurse seeking to continue your education the LPN-RN bridge is for you! This option is transitioning to a hybrid design (online and in person) and can be completed in 12 consecutive months. Laboratory and clinical experiences will occur on selected evenings and/or weekends, allowing you to meet responsibilities (work and family) and continue your education. This accelerated option is geared toward applicants who are CURRENTLY licensed as a practical nurse.

Next PN-RN Bridge admission cycle will be Spring 2027. Deadline to apply will be September 30, 2026.

All meetings are held in the Barbara M. Veazy Health Sciences Building, Room E105.

Students interested in applying to the program must attend one of the above information sessions. 

Your application will be electronically sent to the Selective Admission office.  You will receive an email from the office via email in approximately 2-4 weeks after submission of your application, outlining the status of your application file. 

The class will not be selected until after the application deadline.  Approximately three (3) weeks after the deadline you will receive a letter via email notifying you whether or not you have been selected for the class.
