October 1

• Spring Registration Begins
  Currently enrolled students should make an appointment with their assigned academic advisor. Please contact the Advising Center at (270) 534-3349 or wkctcadvising@kctcs.edu if you have questions about your assigned advisor.
  *New students should contact the Office at (270) 534-3435 or wkctcenrollment@kctcs.edu.
• Spring tuition payment plans are available at http://mycollegepaymentplan.com/kctcs/.
• 2026-2027 Scholarship applications are available.
• 2026-2027 FAFSA Application is available.

December 1

• Financial Aid priority deadline.

December 12

• Last day to pay Spring 2026 tuition or make payment arrangements to avoid cancellation of Spring classes.  After December 12, students registering must pay or set up a payment plan at time of registration.

December 22- January 4

• Institutional Closing (Campus closed).

January 5

• Registration continues for Spring 2026 courses. (Tuition or payment arrangements due at time of registration.)

January 9

• Last day to enroll at 0% down payment, 4 payments (January, February, March, April)

January 12

• Class work begins for Spring 2026.

January 18

• **For 16-week classes:
  Last day to drop a course without a grade.
  Last day to withdraw and receive 100% tuition refund.

January 19

• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (KCTCS Holiday – Campus closed).

January 26

• Last day to enroll at 25% down payment, 3 payments (February, March, April).

February 1

• Last day to file an application in the Registrar’s Office for a May credential.

February 9

• ** For 16-week classes:
  Last day to withdraw and receive a 50% tuition refund.
• 12-week classes begin

February 16

• Presidents’ Day (KCTCS Holiday – Campus closed).

March 1

• Summer and Fall Registration Begins

• Application deadline for academic scholarships for Fall 2026.

March 8

• For 16-week classes:
  Last day for students, at their discretion, to officially withdraw from a class and receive a grade of “W.”
  Last day to change from credit to audit.

March 9

• 8-week classes begin

March 10

• Last day to enroll at 50% down payment, 1 additional payment (April)

March 16 - 22

• Spring Break (Academic Holiday – No classes).

April 3 - 5

• Good Friday (KCTCS Holiday - Campus closes at noon).

May 1

• For 16-week classes:
  End of class work and last day for a student, at the discretion of the instructor, to officially withdraw from a class and receive a grade of "W.”

May 4 - 10

• Final exams for Spring 2026.

May 11, 12, and 13

• Spring commencement.

*Students must have submitted an application previously and met minimum assessment score requirements.

**Refer to the Refund Policies for withdrawal and refund policies for classes that meet for fewer than 16 weeks.

Dates that apply to all classes:

• WKCTC Offices are closed on Fridays during the summer – May 15 through July 31
• Juneteenth (Institutional Closing)- June 18th 
• July 4th (Institutional Closing)- July 2nd 
• Faculty/Staff Kick-Off –August 7

• Labor Day (Institutional Closing)- September 7
• Fall Break (No classes in session) – October 7 -9
• Thanksgiving Break (Institutional Closing)- November 25-27
