*Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better in 10 or more college hours applicable to the program.  Cumulative GPA is calculated based on all post-secondary course work, including transfer credits from all post-secondary institutions.

Points will be awarded for the following courses

Completed courses with a grade of "B" will receive 2 points each and completed courses with a grade of "A" will receive 3 points for 9 points maximum.

Preferences may be given to applicants:

  • with an ACT composite score of 21 or above.
  • who have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better (4.0 scale) in a minimum of 10 hours of general education and supportive courses.
  • Applicants who have graduated or are graduate eligible from a two-year accredited Allied Health program or have the minimum of an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in a clinically related field, will receive 6 points. A copy of the applicant's current license must be submitted to receive points. Applicants who have completed a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree from an accredited Allied Health program or pending graduation from an accredited Allied Health Program must submit a letter documenting completion date from the program coordinator/director.  

Students admitted into the DMS Program must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

NOTE: Selective admission criteria are subject to change each fall.
