Radiography Selective Admission Process

Points are calculated in the following four areas. Applicants are ranked according to points earned. A maximum of 40 points is possible.

You must have a minimum KCTCS cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher to be considered for the radiography program. You must have a minimum grade of "C" for all pre-requisite & co-requisite classes.

  • Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II
  • Social Science

 Grades will be evaluated from each of the following courses; please note that you must have a minimum grade of "C" in these courses to be considered for the program"

  • BIO 137 Human Anatomy and Physiology I
  • BIO 139 Human Anatomy and Physiology II
  • MAT 150 College Algebra or higher level quantitative reasoning course

5 Points will be awarded to applicants who are state licensed in an allied health or nursing field.

 

Only final course grades in classes completed by the March 15 deadline will be used in calculating selective admission points. In the event of a tie in the final number of points, final applicant selection will be determined by cumulative grade point average (GPA).
