*Students must enroll in classes 24 hours prior to activating their KCTCS Account.*
- Go to User Account Center.
- Select Setup User Profile to create your user account or Reset Password if you have forgotten your password.
- If you are resetting your password, you will need to enter your KCTCS username or
email address.
- Please note that if you are unable to access the methods for verification displayed on the screen you will need to have your information updated by contact (855) 469-5282 or stopping by the Admissions and Information Services area in the lobby of Anderson Technical Building.
- If you are setting up your student account provide your birth month, birth day and
KCTCS ID number.
- You will be provided your KCTCS username and allowed to set your own password.
- Click the button that says create/update my user profile.
There are two ways to get to your One Drive Folder. The steps below will allow you to access your OneDrive Folder through your My Path page. However, if you want to set up OneDrive on your computer for easy access you will follow the section below for Setting Up Your OneDrive.
- Go to MyPath. You may be asked to sign in using your login credentials
- Click on the "Waffle" icon (app launcher).
- Click on the OneDrive icon in the pop-up menu.
- This will show you all the files that you currently have in OneDrive with the most recent ones located at the top.
To ensure access to your One Drive easily on your computer you can follow the steps below:
- Click on your file explorer folder.
- Locate OneDrive (third from the top on the menu on the left) and click it.
- Use your school email for the pop-up screen to sign up. Continue through slides until you reach the end that says "Your OneDrive is ready for you."
- Your name and KCTCS should have replaced the OneDrive on the left side menu. You are ready to start using OneDrive.
Provide a copy of your valid driver’s license to Admissions and Information Services in the lobby of Anderson Technical Building.

- Go to the records site here and click Transcript Requests & Transferring Credits.
- Fill out the form, provide payment information, and electronically sign with a mouse on the consent page.
*Please allow 3 weeks after classes begin for enrollment information to be reported/processed before requesting verification*

**Lenders are automatically notified of your enrollment status four times per semester.**
Speak with your Financial Aid Counselor to ensure financial aid will not require repayment.

AA/AS: Complete the Graduation Application on our website.
AAS/Diplomas/Certificates: Complete the Paper Graduation Application (available online), obtain instructor signature and curriculum.
- Go to fafsa.ed.gov
- If you are new to FAFSA choose Start A New FAFSA and if you are a returning user choose Login.
- Enter your FSA ID username and password. If you do not have one, you will need to create one to confirm your identity and electronically sign.
- Make sure to put our school code: 001979

- Go to MyPath (opens in a new tab). You may be asked to sign in using your login credentials.
- Click the App Launcher icon "waffle" in the upper left of screen.
- Click on Microsoft 365 that appears at the top of the menu that pops up.
- Click on Install and More on the right side of the screen.
- Click on Install Microsoft 365 Apps.
- Click on the file that is downloaded and click Run (in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox). If you are asked if you want to allow this app to make changes to your device, you want to choose yes.
- You should see a screen that says installing office.
- Install complete when you see the phrase "You're all set! Office is installed now". When you open and log into each app for the first time you may need to use your school email address.
Remember that you can download up to five copies of Office 365. Don't forget your phone, tablet, or even your parent's computer if you visit them often. That way you will always have access to a copy of Office 365.
- Select your Network button to open the task bar.
- On the Wi-Fi quick setting, select Manage Wi-Fi connections.
- Choose the Wi-Fi network labeled KCTCS-STUDENT-GUEST, then select Connect.

- Sessn: College session in which the course is offered. The start and end dates of a course determines the session number. Refund policies are based on the session in which a course is offered.
- Class#: Number assigned to this class section.
- Course: Department and course number.
- Section: Section number. Section numbers on all WKCTC classes start with B5 or B6. A “Z” in the section number indicates the course is offered online, an “L” in the section number indicates a laboratory class which may or may not have credit assigned.
- Course Title: Title of the course. Many titles are abbreviated for printing purposes.
- Location: Campus location where the course is offered.
- Dates: Start and end dates of the class.
- Credits: Credit hours for the course. Courses having a lab associated with them may be for credit or not for credit. Credit hours are used to determine your grade point average (GPA).
- Meets: Days a class meets.
- Begins & Ends: Start and end times of the class.
- Bldg: Building in which the class is offered. All WKCTC classes will have a B5 or B6 listed prior to the building abbreviation. WWW indicates the class is online.
- Room: Classroom number.
- Instructor: Class instructor name.
