Academic Calendar
Session m12 begins 6/23– ends 8/8 (6-week Classes)

March 1

  • Summer and Fall Registration Begins

    Currently enrolled students should make an appointment with their assigned academic advisor.  Please contact the Advising Center at (270) 534-3349 or wkctcadvising@kctcs.edu if you have questions about your assigned advisor.

    *New students should contact the Admissions Office at (270) 534-3435 or wkctcenrollment@kctcs.edu.

  • Summer tuition payment plans are available at http://mycollegepaymentplan.com/kctcs starting March 1.

April 15

  • Financial aid priority deadline.

May 9

  • Last day to enroll at 25% down payment, 3 payments (May, June, July).

May 26

  • Memorial Day Holiday (KCTCS Holiday – Campus closed).

May 30

  • Last day to enroll at 50% down payment, 2 payments (June, July).

June 15

  • Last day to file an application in the Registrar’s Office for an August credential.

June 19

  • Juneteenth Holiday (KCTCS Holiday - Campus closed).

June 23

  • Last day to pay Summer 4 tuition or make payment arrangements to avoid cancellation of Summer classes.
  • Summer 4 classwork begins.

June 24

  • **Summer 4 (6-week classes):
    Last day to drop a course without a grade.
    Last day to withdraw and receive 100% tuition refund.

July 2

  • ** Summer 4 (6-week classes):
    Last day to withdraw and receive a 50% tuition refund.

July 4

  • Independence Day Holiday (KCTCS Holiday – Campus closed).

July 13

  • Summer 4 (6-week classes):
    Last day for students, at their discretion, to officially withdraw from a class and receive a grade of “W”.
    Last day to change from credit to audit.

August 1

  • Summer 4 (6-week classes):
    End of classwork and last day for a student, at the discretion of the instructor, to officially withdraw from a class and receive a grade of “W”.

August 4-5

  • Final exams for 6-week classes. (Please refer to course syllabi.)

*Students must have submitted an application previously and met minimum assessment score requirements.

**Refer to the Refund Policies for withdrawal and refund policies for other sessions.
