LPN-RN Bridge Opportunity!!

If you are a licensed practical nurse seeking to continue your education the LPN-RN Bridge if for you!. The bridge semester is part-time and allows LPNs to transition back in to the role of the student and focuses on the transition from an LPN to a RN. The final year of the program is full-time and is delivered in a hybrid format.

Student Support for Success!!

To support students in reaching their goal of admission to the LPN-RN accelerated bridge option, WKCTC has developed the “Ace the NACE” prep course. This course is designed to better prepare the LPN to successfully complete the NACE exam and is free to all applicants. Additionally, it provides a great opportunity for those students who have already been admitted to the program to improve their test-taking abilities prior to starting the program. The course is self-paced so you can complete it on your own timeline within an academic semester (fall, spring, or summer). It provides an overview of important concepts that should be reviewed before the exam, along with resources to help refresh your current knowledge. The course is not designed to teach new content, but to reinforce previous learning. Additionally, several practice exams are provided to help students practice test-taking strategies and evaluate current knowledge.  One-on-one mentoring will be provided to develop individualized test preparation plans and facilitate the admission process.

Nursing Accelerated Challenge Exam (NACE) Fundamentals

To receive advanced standing and the accelerated nature of the LPN-to-RN Bridge program, LPN students must successfully complete the Nursing Accelerated Challenge Exam (NACE) Foundations of Nursing exam. The Foundations of Nursing exam is similar to the NCLEX-PN exam with an emphasis on nursing fundamentals. In order to demonstrate a foundational knowledge of this content and to receive advanced standing, LPN applicants must score a 77 or higher on this exam to be eligible for admission.
