WKCTC SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE TEAM (SART)
The West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) Sexual Assault Response Team, is a comprehensive, collaborative approach to provide a trauma-informed, survivor-centered response to sexual assault impacting the WKCTC community.
We are committed to developing the skills and capacities of our members, reaching more survivors, and engaging diverse stakeholders. Thus, creating solutions to increase protective factors that function to prevent sexual violence.
The West Kentucky Community and Technical College or SART is a collaborative group of individuals who respond to instances of sexual violence on our campus. These individuals coordinate a victim-centered approach to intervention and care for sexual assault survivors. We strive to balance the needs of the sexual assault survivor and those of the criminal justice system. All responders act according to established protocols and policies created by the entire Team.
