About the SSC
The SSC includes areas for tutoring and supplemental instruction as well as computer and printer access for students.
First Year Experience Courses
First Year Experience courses introduce new students to strategies that promote academic, personal, and professional success in the college environment.
Academic Support
Academic support provides one-on-one and small group study sessions (free tutoring) as well as Supplemental Instruction. Services include assistance with study skills and course-specific concepts using a primarily peer-driven approach.
Success Coaches
Success Coaches foster a greater sense of belonging by supporting WKCTC students in identifying and connecting with resources while completing their credentials at WKCTC.
Starfish
Starfish is a communication platform used by instructors to communicate with students on their progress. Tracking items may include Kudos, Flags, and Tutoring Referrals. Students will receive email notifications from Starfish when instructors raise tracking items. Starfish can be accessed on your WKCTC MyPath page.
