Paying Tuition and Fees


Financial Aid

If you are using financial aid, your tuition and book charges will be automatically be deducted when aid disburses a few weeks into the term. If you have a credit balance, the remainder will be refunded to you.

Making Payments/Payment Plans

  • Pay through Student Self-Service. Log in and choose "Self Service", select "Campus Finances" and "Make a Payment". From this screen you will have the option to pay with check, credit card or NBS Payment (not available for summer semester). Depending on which option you choose, prompts will walk you through the process.
  • Pay by check: Check must include: Students name, ID # and/or last four digits of Social Security #. Make check payable to WKCTC.
  • Pay by credit card: MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted.
  • Payment Plan: A payment plan is offered through an outside agency, FACTS Management, in the spring and fall semesters. You can set up your payment plan online by following the online payment directions above. At the "Make a Payment" screen, select "Payment Plan (NBS)". You will be prompted for further information.

Third Party Payments

  • These include Vocational Rehabilitation, WIA, Dislocated Workers, etc.
  • Make sure the Business Office has written approval and the billing address by payment deadline.


  • Senior Learners --Anyone who is at least 65 years old (by the first day ofsemester)and a Kentucky resident may enroll for regular courses at the college without payment of tuition. All prerequisites and entrance requirements are waived for students under this program. The fee waiver will automatically credit the students account as long as proof of age and Kentucky residency is presented to the Admissions Office verifying age of at least 65 when classes begin.
  • Foster, Veterans Dependent, and Police/Firefighter Dependent Waivers
