Paying Tuition and Fees

Financial Aid

If you are using financial aid, your tuition and book charges will be automatically be deducted when aid disburses a few weeks into the term. If you have a credit balance, the remainder will be refunded to you.

Payment Options

Online payment may be made by credit card or personal check through PeopleSoft Student Self-Service by visiting the KCTCS website at https://students.kctcs.edu.  Log in and choose “Self Service”, select “Account Balance”, and “Make a Payment”.  From this screen, you will have the option to pay with credit card, electronic check, set-up official payment plan.

The official tuition payment plan is available for a nonrefundable charge of $25 each semester. Students may pay tuition in up to four installments depending on how early the plan is approved. Payments are automatically withdrawn from the responsible party’s checking account, savings account or credit card.  For more information and for payment plan dates, visit http://mycollegepaymentplan.com/kctcs/.

Payment may be made in person at the Business Office, located in the Anderson Technical Building, Room 127, by cash, check, money order or credit card. MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express are accepted.  Credit card payment may also be made by telephone at 270-534-3345.  Personal checks returned by a bank will result in tuition liability and a service charge of $50 on each check.

Third Party Payments

  • These include Vocational Rehabilitation, WIA, Dislocated Workers, etc.
  • Make sure the Business Office has written approval and the billing address by payment deadline.

Waivers

  • Senior Learners --Anyone who is at least 65 years old (by the first day ofsemester)and a Kentucky resident may enroll for regular courses at the college without payment of tuition. All prerequisites and entrance requirements are waived for students under this program. The fee waiver will automatically credit the students account as long as proof of age and Kentucky residency is presented to the Admissions Office verifying age of at least 65 when classes begin.
