WKCTC Adult Promise Scholarship
Adult Promise Scholarship recipients receive free tuition* for up to 30 credit hours
over two semesters. The Adult Promise Scholarship is a “last dollar” scholarship that
cover tuition after all other financial aid or third-party payments are applied.
*Books and required supplies/materials not covered by scholarship.
To qualify to receive the Adult Promise Scholarship, students must:
- Not been enrolled at a KCTCS school since May 2020
- Be admitted to WKCTC as a degree-seeking student
- Be at least 25 years of age by August 1, 2024
- Be in good Academic and Financial standing
- Kentucky resident in Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Crittenden, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, and Trigg counties
- Illinois resident in Alexander, Pulaski, Massac, Pope, Hardin, and Johnson
- Tennessee resident in Lake, Obion, Weakley, and Henry
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the first day of first semester enrolled
- Complete Work Ready Scholarship application (if applicable)
- Enroll and complete at least six credit hours for each semester
- Must enroll in WKCTC courses
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA
