New to college? Here’s how to get started!

Apply as a freshman if you’ve never taken a college class or if you took dual-credit, SEEK, or dual-enrolled classes in high school. If you’ve taken college classes, apply as a transfer student.

How to Apply

  1. Submit the Application for Admission. It’s free, and it only takes about 15 minutes to complete.
     
  2. Send us your official high school or GED transcript
    • High School transcripts should be emailed, faxed, or mailed directly to WKCTC from the High School OR hand-delivered to the Records Office with your government issued ID.
    • GED transcripts can be ordered at GED transcript and sent directly to WKCTCrecords@kctcs.edu.
       
  3. Submit your ACT or SAT scores or the results of placement testing.
     
  4. Explore financial aid. Our generous scholarships, grants and loans make a great education even more affordable. Here’s how.
