The purpose of this course is to provide healthcare providers with information to accurately recognize pediatric abusive head trauma (PAHT) and gain knowledge about prevention methods. The Registered Nurse Refresher course is designed to prepare the inactive registered nurse to return to nursing practice. This course will provide a review and update of knowledge and skills necessary to care for the patient in the acute care environment. If you are an inactive RN whose license has lapsed, this course is in compliance with guidelines to award 120 contact hours. This Web Enhanced Central Sterile Processing Course is designed to prepare central service technicians to sit for certification through IAHCSMM. The program consists of 144 contact hours. The course is in a format that allows you to work at your own pace. It is in a modular format and you access the quizzes and test online. Workbook practice exercises should be completed prior to taking any quiz to ensure success in all course work. Quizzes are allowed to be taken numerous times also to help ensure mastery of the subject matter. If a student elects to follow the agenda for the course work can be completed in 16 weeks.  All quizzes and exams are submitted through Blackboard.
